- Company was facing an issue of high operational costs of a resume database subscripttion service. Management wanted to reduce the cost and ensure we don't exhaust the quota before the subscription date. - Deep dive into and analyse the historic data and point out how the usage looked like and who are the users that are excessively using the service. - Collected the data from the service's UI and analyzed the data using Pivot Tables to understand month-wise and user-wise usage and prepared a Word document that showed what the usage was and how we can solve this issue. - We restricted the usage hours and I wrote a script using Google AppScript to automate sending reports daily to the Management informing about yesterday's usage. - Led to decrease in CV Usage of 4000 per month which ensured that we not only save CVs for the rest of the month but also induce the understanding within the recruiters to be a little mindful when accessing CVs of the candidates.
